New Study Shows Going Veg Can Help Reduce Type-2 Diabetes Risk
A study has demonstrated that going vegetarian, even a few times a month, can help reduce obesity-related ailments including type 2 diabetes. Of course, going meatless doesn't give one licesense to load up on the Twinkees or corn chips which, if over eaten, will pack on the pounds anyway. But by reducing the amount of fat in the diet, which comes from meat eating, this study found that body weight lowers and therefore so the risk of type 2 diabetes.
